lMLoTS - The Media Library of Teaching Skills for adult learning and literacy
MLoTs is a free, online, digital library of short videos of adult education teachers and their classes or tutorials, intended for use in professional development. Each video is an example of a state-approved content standard, research-based practice, preferred approach, or specific teaching method or skill.
The MLots website contains a comprehensive list of Other Adult Learning Videos available on independent websites and on YouTube.
Office of New Bostonians ESOL Instructional Videos
The 28-episode series focuses on English for speakers of other languages for the workplace. In each video, Richard Goldberg of the Asian American Civic Association is filmed teaching the specific "English for Speakers of Other Languages" components to English language learners.
Project Dropout
From February to April 2009, public broadcasters WGBH and WBUR focused a journalistic lens on the dropout crisis in Massachusetts. WBUR examines the high-school dropout rate from a variety of perspectives, including the economic and social impact. WGBH’s Greater Boston examines how the Massachusetts dropout rate affects everyone in the commonwealth, from the students and their families to state citizens and their communities.
